BES Islands Reject Constitutional Changes Without Consent
In a Democratic Dutch Kingdom, The State Secretary should sit down and listen to the BES Islands Council Concerns, Will and Demands that is what Democracy is all about! It is not Only Democratic it is a resourceful and prudent way to act as the State Secretary. The State Secretary by Listening and working along with the BES Islands Councils shows that he
also cares by Listening to the people whom he should and was elected to represent!
Their should be No excuse or reason for the Dutch State Secretary Not to Meet the Islands Councils This is undemocratic and unconstitional! I call and exhort all Dutch Political Parties in the Netherlands to please show more cooperation and willingness in working directly with your fellow citizens and Political partners Representatives in the Dutch islands; PVV Party: Mr. Geeet Wilders please behave with a little more humanitarian decency in making Government work also for the Islands Councils of Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire! You were elected to Government to be United and find Solutions for Dutch Citizens! If The BES islands Councils are asking for more Direct Relations , why not hear the Voice of The people? Why not Do what the People who elected You are asking? Let me remind You to kindly remember that You were elected to serve The People!
Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people.” President: Abraham Lincoln

BES united in opposition to maintaining Kingdom Representative
I would like to Share publicly these 3 quotes for the island Councils of the 3 BES islands: Saba, Statia and Bonaire so that they may understand why a Dutch Representative is of vital importance:
We must come to see that the end we seek is a society at peace with itself, a society that can live with its conscience”: A society at peace with itself requires honesty and accountability in all its dealings. Dr. Martin Luther King jr.
There can be no faith in government if our highest offices are excused from scrutiny — they should be setting the example of transparency.” — Edward Snowden.
We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.” President John F. Kennedy

Kingdom Representative to Receive Enhanced Powers in Caribbean Netherlands
This is a great way to create more Transparency in Government! That way if The Dutch Representative notices any inconsistencies or double standards, he can Report.

Glad this ended well. I was 57 years old and in decent shape and couldn’t even finish a climb to the top of the mountain back in 2019 !

Focus groups start in Saba for 'Where Culture Lives' project
With regard to the “Where Culture Lives” survey, I hope one or more respondents pointed out that we rarely, if ever, get a visiting classical music quartet or small orchestra. Live music is so important for a peaceful culture. We do not get any dance groups, either. I am retired from Boston Repetory Ballet and the absence of dance companies is particularly sad for me. I have asked the Netherlands Danse theatre and the Royal Dutch Ballet to appear at the Community Center in Windwardside and I hear ‘crickets.'(nothing)
