The BES Health Insurance Office (ZVK) has been the operator of this healthcare insurance since 1 January 2011. The ZVK is commissioned by and under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. The ZVK continues to work on improving the health care on the islands of the Dutch Caribbean.
