  1. Congratulations!!! To the Saba Harry L. Johnson Museum; especially to the one and only lady, Sherry Peterson, who for many years up-kept and maintain it’s visión and purpose on Small Saba. I would love to see a recognition of Ms. Sherry Peterson for all her hard work through out all those many years in opening the Saba Museum. She maintain the Saba Museum with care and love for the enrichment of Saban History and Culture!

I remember as a former staff; a young little boy growing up on Saba sitting in front of the Saba Museum steps, Listening to very inspiring stories of the olden days of Commissioner Ulric Hassell in the 1990s; The First Island Commissioner 1951-1955; He would tell me stories of how he used to work and sale on Big schooners and Merchant Ships! He used to recite poems from the top of his head even as an elderly man he nevered failed in his good-excellent memory! He was deeply rooted in the Saban Culture and Saban Traditions.
His daughter Ms. Sherry Peterson trained me to give give guided tours to assist her in The Museum since the age of 14 since 2003 and in the 1990s I was also Educated of Saban History by her Father Ulric Hassell. I remember his daughter Ms. Juliana Johnson born Hassell, she was a devote Roman Catholic and took good care of the Windwardside Catholic Church. They were a noble historic class Saban Family.
I remember Commissioner Steve Hassell: Son of Ulric Hassell: how beautiful through his administración he kept the Museum grounds so neatly clean, orderly and beautiful and The entire Island of Saba.
