I am so, so grateful to read this as Lucy saved my eyesight (due to her early detection of my glaucoma). Even my eye surgeon in the U.S. says she deserves all the credit. Thanks to her expertise and quick action prescribing the correct medicine and frequently monitoring my eye pressures, I received no damage to my optical nerve. Having her here on island is invaluable to me. You cannot put a price on your vision and she is a true eye care professional deserving of respect. I am very grateful we are not losing her ❤

BOTH….suffered an epileptic seizure at the same time ? Very odd. Driver license should be revoked with a medical history of seizures.

We’ll see a lot more of these messages in the future, thanks to the new traffic ordinance. Who got the bright idea to increase the maximum speed on our roads by 50%?
Draw your own conclusions. Forcing the police to uphold the original speed limits on our roads would have been a must safer solution to avoid accidents.

Why this increase of costs while the energy is based on the costs of solar panels on Saba???

First Of all……Tourism?!?!? Saba needs more then just-one-dive-shop! That is..if we want tourism to stay at a level we desire here…as a tourist diving/hiking destination. (We do have more then one trail…..Thank God!) Imagine we had only one grocery or one restaurant??????
The Government need to encourage this get some attention! And encourage this Avenue gets priority & encouragement to fill the other licenses on island! (Along with the island collecting more needed business tax dollars for Saba!)
While moving here to open and run a business, there were 3 dive companies. Bringing many a tourist to Saba. What the heck happened to one of our main industries here on island??????? Start with this thought, answers appreciated.

As an outsider looking in…..if you resign from your party, then you should be gone altogether. You were elected as a representative of “that” party and its beliefs. Next election you can run as an independant and try your luck.

Did anyone see a report on the May 13th break-in in Windwardside at the cottage behind Brigadoon? If there hasn’t been a report, why not? The perpetuator left their cell phone after a hasty exit and the police have or had it.

The focus should be on “Soft Tourism”. Marketing with targetgroups for diving, hiking, nature, relaxing etc.
Almost each and every country in the world has organisations for this category of tourism.
