Collision between scooter and car

On Monday, the 14th of September, at around 7:15 AM, the central control room received a report of a collision between a car and a scooter at the intersection of Pasture Street and Gray Bush Street. The driver of the scooter was injured and was taken to the hospital by ambulance for medical treatment. In accordance with the ‘botsen is blazen’ policy, a breathalyzer test was administered to the driver of the car, which showed no indication of alcohol consumption. Due to medical reasons, a breathalyzer testcould not be administered to the driver of the scooter.
