Follow Saba News on Facebook

Facebook has recently changed  the options for linking posts from websites to Facebook profiles and pages. This is all related to privacy, content protection, etc. This holds that Saba News also had to change the announcements of new posts on our websites to our “friends”.

As we can no longer make automatic announcements to our profile page “spike.swierstra”, we now solely use our Facebook page News.from.Saba.

If you would like to see the announcement of a new Saba News article on your Facebook timeline, then you should “Follow” our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/News.from.Saba. When you “follow” us, you see our posts directly in your News Feed. You automatically follow people you’re friends with. You can also follow the posts of people you’re interested in.

When you follow a profile or Page, you may see updates from that person or Page in your News Feed. If you’re friends with someone, you automatically follow them. If you send someone a friend request who allows everybody to follow them, you’ll automatically follow their posts.
You can make the posts of people and Pages you follow appear at the top of your News Feed with See First. Or, to temporarily unfollow a person, Page or group, you can snooze them

See Who You’re Following

You can see the people and Pages you’re following by clicking Friends below your cover photo, then hovering over More in the Friends section and scrolling down to select Following. If you don’t see Following, it means you’re not following anyone yet.

To follow us, on your facebook page do the following:

Search for the page of Saba News:

When you are on our Facebook page click on  the “Follow” button below the top image.

That’s it! You will now see all our news items announced on your timeline.
Each post has a link to the specific post on the Saba News website. When you click the link, you can read the full post.

To unfollow a profile or Page:
  1. Go to the profile or Page.
  2. Hover over Following.
  3. Select Unfollow (on a profile) or Unfollow this Page.
Enjoy.
